Office Device Based Activation allows you to take advantage of Click-to-Run technology in a way that is more in line with traditional MSI deployments. When using Office Device Based Activation, you can set it up to install Office, as well as uninstall the version of Office already on the devices. You can also dictate whether Office 2013 or Office 2016 is the version being installed, and even what programs will be installed (Word and Excel but not Access, for example).
Take your school or center’s deployment to the next level with Office 365 ProPlus:

The use of Office Device Based Activation is designed to make it easier for schools to transition to using Office 365 ProPlus. Office Device Based Activation will allow users to sign into shared computers and already have Office installed on the device. Users then don’t have to utilize one of their 5 downloads that they receive when they are licensed for Office 365 ProPlus, and they will not be prompted to install Office or activate Office. For example, if a student has used their 5 installs, when they go to use a computer in the school computer lab, they can still gain access to their files that are saved on the cloud and utilize the full Office Suite.
Finally, this Office Mix will demonstrate what the process will look like.
This is a no-cost session.
